Members of popular band Black are set to soar with their new album that is self titled, ‘Black’. It is some tentative moments growing in the studio as the band members race against time and race against traffic jam to deliver to their fans the ultimate uproar.
The band has been moving on like a storm ever since their debut in 2001 through the album ‘Amar Prithibi’. Since then, they have been at the top of charts as well as the hearts of the fans. Music of Black itself has been an awesome experience through the decade and in 2010, they have a brand new feel. They also have a brand new bassist, Rafiqul Ahsan Titu, Jon’s mesmerizing vocals, Jahan’s powerful guitars and Tony’s inexhaustible drums. In brief, Black is ready to come up with new surprises.
‘We plan to release it sometimes at the first or second week of December. So for all the fans of Black, brace yourselves!’ said Jahan about their upcoming album.
This year they had released a single, ‘Byartho Shwapno’ in the band mixed album Rock 505 by Iqbal Aisf Jewel. In ‘Byartho Shwapno’ the fans get to see another side of Black, the hard core style. The members say, they will bring more of it in their upcoming album. ‘Since it will be our solo album, we have tried to put a mix of different styles. Of course there will be some hard core, and there will be some soft as well,’ Jahan explained.
Another interesting fact of the album is that 4/5 of the songs have been recorded live. Jon has recently appeared in a music show in ntv where he spoke about and performed some of the songs. However, the audience will see them less in live programmes for the time being as the band is busy working on their new album.
