A visually impaired man was stabbed to death by miscreants over previous enmity at Ramganj College Road under Ramganj municipality area in Lakshmipur on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Khoka Mia, 40, son of Nur Mia of the village.
Quoting witnesses, police said a group of miscreants numbering 4/5 waylaid Khoka Mia while returning home in the area in a rickshaw and stabbed him indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured.
Later he was rushed to Ramganj Upazila Health Complex where doctors referred him to Noakhali General Hospital.
He died on way to the hospital.
Khoka Mia had a business of lending loan to gamblers for long.
