Additional leased buses, alongside regular buses, will travel on inter-district routes during Eid holiday, a Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation statement said Sunday.
As many as 200 buses will be available during the holiday, which will start from Sep 8 and will continue three days after the Eid. BRTC will start selling tickets in bus-depots on Sep 4.
The buses will start from the capital’s Motijheel, Joar Shahara, Kalyanpur, Mirpur-12, Fulbaria, Gabtoli, Mohakhali and Cantonment railway station.
Seats will be reserved for women and disabled.
