The families said that the Indian guards had shot Sirajul and Jaheduddin about 30 yards inside the Bangladesh territory when they were taking Indians cattle into Bangladesh early Sunday. The both died on the spot.
Motihar police subinspector Shahjahan Ali said that they had heard about the killing. He said the Indian guards had not returned the bodies although the Bangladesh guards wrote to the Indian authorities.
The Indian guards told the Bangladesh guards that they would return the bodies on Monday, he added.
A BGB official said that they had written to the Indian guards to hold a flag meeting and the Indians were yet to give any reply.
