A bus lost control and hit a roadside tree at Fakirhat upazila in Bagerhat on Tuesday (July 26, 2022), leaving two passengers dead and fifteen others wounded.
The deceased are Anwara Begum (40), of the Matiranga region of Khagrachhari district, and Moni Mallik (24), the son of Siddique Mallick of Sapleja village in Mathbaria upazila of Pirojpur district.

The Meghna Classic Paribahan bus that was implicated in the collision, headed out of Dhaka for Sharankhola in Bagerhat in the morning, According to the police, locals rescued the injured and transported them to the nearby medical facility.
Two persons were murdered and numerous others were hurt after a passenger bus lost control of the wheel and collided with a roadside tree, according to OC Alimuzzaman. The OC stated that they had informed the deceased’s relatives and that the bodies had been kept at the Fakirhat Police Station compound.
