Mumbai: Mukhesh Bhatt’s much-awaited thriller, ‘Raaz: The Mystery Continues’ has been ripped off the chances of showing the hottest part of the movie. Kangana Ranaut’s ‘nude’ scene in the movie has made the Censor Board click it’s scissors disapprovingly. It has sternly recommended the director to do away with it if he wants the movie to see day-light.
That was perhaps Mukesh’s only USP, as now he is royally upset over the decision of the Censor Board.
Also, Raaz has been given an A certificate. However, Mukesh has the option of approaching the Revising Committee of the Censor Board.
Grapevine has it that Mukesh indulged in war of words with Board authorities but the Board refused to cow down.
According to a tabloid report, Mukesh was unwilling to even release the picture and was said to have mocked the Board by stating that he wouldn’t release the flick for the fear of getting a U certificate the next time.
Vinayak Azad (Regional Officer, Censor Board) confirmed the news on Friday, stating, “My officers have told me that they had told Vishesh films to delete the nude scene. Despite the deletion of the scene, the film will have an A certificate since there is a lot of horror content in it.”
However, Mukesh denied the reports, stressing, “‘Raaz – The Mystery Continues’ has got a UA certificate. We have not been asked to delete Kangana’s nude scene.”
Well, all this confusion for a nude scene in a horror-flick. How horrifying is that?
