A two-day programme featuring children’s painting competition and pottery and sculpture exhibition began in the Barisal city on Friday, marking the 26th anniversary of Charukala Barisal.
Uttam Das Udas, a renowned painter of the city, opened the
programme held at Barisal Ashwini Kumar Hall.Altaf Hossain, president of Charukala Barisal, presided over the inaugural ceremony, addressed, among others, by Salahuddin Howladar, secretary of the organisation, Jiban Krishna Dey, Mintu Bose, Akkas Hossain, Nazrul Islam Chuunu.
