Chinese Vice-foreign Minister Liu Zhenmin is likely to visit Dhaka shortly to discuss political situation in the country and bilateral issues.
Zhenmin is expected to arrive in the capital either on December 26 or 27, said sources concerned. The exact date of the visit will be finalized today, the source added. According to the sources, Beijing wrote to the Foreign Ministry on December 18 expressing desire to have diplomatic consultation and learn about current political situation from the Bangladeshi leaders.
