City Bank and American Express on Saturday announced the launch of the City Bank American Express Platinum Credit Card. The Card, issued by City Bank, will bring with it a whole array of services and benefits for the affluent and high net worth individual customers in Bangladesh, said a press release. The benefits of the card include complimentary companion return ticket to Bangkok on Bangkok Airways, complimentary Priority Pass membership with unlimited access to 600 VIP airport lounges worldwide, unlimited access to City Bank International & Domestic Airport Lounge, and Meet & Greet privileges at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka.
Card Members will also enjoy a unique fine dining experience with the Diners Dine Free Programme, across 10 premium restaurants in Bangladesh.
City Bank chairman Rubel Aziz and Pranav Barthwal, vice-president, Global Merchant Services and Partner Card Services, India and Area Countries, American Express, spoke on the occasion.
City Bank managing director and CEO K Mahmood Sattar, additional managing directors Sohail RK Hussain, Faruq M Ahmed, deputy managing director Mashrur Arefin, head of cards Majharul Islam and Rupali Sharma, director and head, Partner Services, American Express, were also present at the launch.
