A residential-cum-commercial building, ‘Rahat Tower’, in the capital’s
Bangla Motor area caught fire Monday morning.
The fire service officials said the fire originated from the eighth floor of the twelve-storey building at around 07:50am and it spread around quickly.On information, firefighters rushed in and brought the blaze under control at around 8:15am.
There was no report of casualty.
The officials were still not clear about the cause of fire.
