The Rajshahi Krishy Unnayan Bank general manager, Ekramul Haque, was found guilty by the probe body formed to investigate his attempt to sexually harass his colleague.
The probe body submitted the report to the finance ministry for taking necessary steps.
According to the report, the GM called the victim to his room and tried to abuse her. She, however, managed to escape.
Later she lodged a complaint with the Bank chairman and he formed a three-member probe body, headed by the bank managing director, Mofazzol Hossain.
Mofazzol Hossain told New Age that they found Ekramul Hauque guilty.
‘We sent the report to the finance ministry on Thursday. The ministry will decide the punishment,’ he added.
Being contacted, Ekramul Haque refused to talk over the issue.
