The contest will run non-stop from 8 am to 9 pm. The top ten teams will receive cash prizes, certificates, and trophies, with the champion earning a direct invitation to the 2025 World Finals. Other winners will qualify for the Asia West Finals alongside teams from India, Pakistan, Iran, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan. A Junior Competitive Programming Contest will also be held to encourage school-level participation.
Platinum sponsor Dutch-Bangla Bank, technical partner Bangladesh Computer Council, and hardware support partner Daffodil Computers Limited are key contributors to the event’s success.
Notable additions include a micro-credential programme offering certifications in AWS, Oracle, and competitive programming, a large-scale IT job fair featuring top companies, live scoreboards, and tech talk sessions.
DIU’s hosting of ICPC-2024 aims to be a milestone event, fostering talent development and strengthening Bangladesh’s IT sector.
