Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Monday urged Japanese entrepreneurs to invest in Bangladesh’s pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, windmill, infrastructure and technology sectors, saying that the Bangladesh government has been offering very
attractive incentive packages to foreign investors.DCCI leaders made this call during a meeting with the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce high-ups in Tokyo, said a press release.
DCCI president Md Sabur Khan and TCC president Toshio Nakamura led their respective sides at the meeting.
Commercial Counsellor of Bangladesh Embassy in Tokyo Rashedul Islam was also present on the occasion.
Sabur Khan said the DCCI would extend all possible support to Japanese entrepreneurs making investments in Bangladesh. He said the friendly
relation between Bangladesh and Japan can boost trade and investment between the two countries further.
