The 19 development coaches of the Bangladesh Football Federation ended their tenures today with their futures uncertain as the Asian Football Confederation reduced the BFF’s development coaching budget. The AFC allocated $3750 for development coaching in this budget, down from the $5880 in the last budget, forcing the BFF to review the coaches’ performance and drop some from the coaching pool.
The BFF formed a three-member committee, made up of Saiful Bari Titu, Maruful Haque and BFF’s technical director Bayezid Jubayer Nipu, who submitted their report last week.
However, the BFF has yet to make a decision, leaving the coaches with an uncertain future.
‘The development committee evaluated the coaches’ performances but has yet to take the final decision,’ BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag said on Monday.
