Dhaka Community Hospital Trust and Community Initiative Society in collaboration with Muslim Foundation for Culture and Development distributed food packs for the people of Galle and Colombo in Sri Lanka on Saturday and Sunday.
With the support of MFCD, the DCHT medical team organised a health camp in Colombo with the provision of medication where they treated more than 400 patients, said a press release.
During the health camp and food pack distribution, MFCD chairman MHM Hanan, secretary MIM Hasreem, Ronjit Halder, Hashi Chakma, Shahadat Hossain, Md Fuadul Islam, Munjarin Awal, and Limon Dutta were present, among others.
The Sri Lankan local government and MFCD team expressed gratitude to DCHT and CIS for the support.
This contribution reflects the close bonds of friendship as well as the goodwill between the peoples of the two countries.
