Dhanmondi Club beat Eskaton SS by 76 runs in the lone match of the Metropolis First Division Cricket League at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
Batting first, Dhanmondi club scored 235 runs losing five wickets in stipulated 50 overs with Murad Hossain scoring unbeaten 77 runs and Mustafizur Rahman 55.
Faisal, Mustakim, Shafiqul and Mustaq took one wicket each for Eskaton.
In reply, Eskaton SS were all out for 159 runs in 39.2 overs with Asanul Haq making 32 runs and Rejanur Rahman adding 28.
Kazi Shamim grabbed four wickets for 32 runs while Ali Arman and Akash bagged two wickets for 17 and 18 runs respectively for the winner.
