The Dhaka Metropolitan Police authorities on Tuesday hosted an iftar party
and prayer session in the honour of journalists.
The inspector general of police, Hassan Mahmood Khandker, was present at the iftar organised at the police officers’ mess on Old Elephant Road in Eskaton Garden.The DMP commissioner, Benazir Ahmed, and the Crime Reporters Association of Bangladesh president Akhteruzzaman Lavlu, among others, were present at the programme.
