The Dhaka South City Corporation administrator Mohammad, Nazrul Islam, on Tuesday urged the corporation officials and employees to be more accountable to fulfil their duties.
He also ordered the officials and employees concerned to take immediate action for accelerating the services of providing birth, inheritance and citizenship certificates.The administrator was addressing a meeting held at the Dhaka South Nagar Bhaban in the city, said a press release.
Nazrul Islam gave importance on receiving public complaints at every regional office to bring a change in the city corporation’s services.
Among others, DSCC chief executive officer Mohammad Ansar Ali Khan, departmental heads, regional executive officers and the secretaries of the 56 wards were also present at the programme.
