Collision between a train and a microbus at a rail crossing in Mirsharai, Chattogram, resulted in at least 11 dead and two others badly injured on Friday.
The accident took place at a level crossing near Baro Takia Railway Station at around 1:30 pm on Friday.
The number of fatalities was confirmed by Hasan Chowdhury, superintendent of the Chattogram Railway Police.

The train dragged the microbus a short distance before stopping.
There were a total of 14 passengers riding the microbus from Hathazari to Khaiyachhara, according to Upazila Nirbahi Officer Minhazur Rahman.
Two of them were hurt, and eleven of them perished instantly. However, one of the passengers managed to escape the collision unharmed.
