The four Bangladesh Chhatra Leauge activists of Jahangirnagar University unit, who were expelled for beating a journalist last February 27, were moving on the campus freely.
Sources said the expelled four activists were seen on Friday at Mir Mosharraf Hossain Hall and different places of the campus though they had been declared persona non grata on the campus.
The victim journalist, Nahidur Rahman, has alleged that the authorities were yet to take any punitive measure though it was five months after the incident.
On February 27, some of BCL activists critically injured Nahidur Rahman Himel of PTBnews24.com and some other students of history department centering election to the JU History Sangsad. That time BCL activists damaged camera and phone of Nahid.
After the incident, vice-chancellor Professor Anwar Hossain expelled four BCL activists and declared them as persona non grata on the campus for an indefinite period.
The expelled activists were Mohitosh Tito, Ashikur Reza Sagar, Salauddin Parvej and Taimur Rahman — all of them students of history department and residence students of Mir Mosharraf Hossain hall.
