A woman was severely injured in a bomb blast in the capital’s Matuail on Wednesday afternoon.
The victim, Kalpana Akhter, 25, a cleaner of the Dhaka South City Corporation, sustained wounds at around 4:00pm when she was cleaning garbage at Matuail cleaning project, said her husband Sanju Mia.
She was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in a severe condition immediately.
Sanju Mia said Kalpana had several wounds caused by splinters and was undergoing treatment at word 205 of DMCH.
