Feni District reached the final of the Sailors National Under-15 Football Championship eliminating Dhaka District by 5-4 goals in sudden death session of tie-breaker at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Monday. The semifinal between the two teams was locked in a goalless position in the stipulated 90 minutes forcing the match towards direct tie-breaking system.Feni will play Narayanganj in the final on Wednesday at 5:00 pm at the same venue. State-owned Bangladesh Television will telecast the match live while Bangladesh Betar will broadcast the running commentary of the match from Bangabandhu National Stadium.
Narayanganj District booked a seat for the final eliminating Sylhet District also by 5-4 goals in penalty shootout as the first semifinal match between them was locked in 1-1- at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Sunday.
After a goalless result in the 2nd semifinal, the match was again locked in 3-3 goals in the first five shots of the tie-breaker and was again locked in 4-4 goals after first shot of the sudden death.
