Four Bangladeshi cricketers have been fined 10 per cent of their match fee by match referee Javagal Srinath for breaching clothing and equipment rules during the ongoing Test match against New Zealand in Chittagong, officials said on Saturday. The cricketers include skipper Mushfiqur Rahim who used an extra logo on his bat during the third day’s play to receive the fine.Mushfiq joined batsman Anamul Haque, Marshall Ayub and Mominul Hoque, who all used colour logos on their pads, breaching the rule.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board was notified about the fine but no official announcement has been made.
