National cricket captain Mushfiqur Rahim on Tuesday signed a one-year deal with cookies and biscuit manufacturer Goldmark Foods Ltd as its Brand Ambassador.
A grand signing ceremony was held on the occasion at the Westin Hotel where managing director of the company, Mohammed Bashir was present among others.
Mushfiq said he agreed to work for the company as it brought some quality products to the market.
‘So far I know, Goldmark brought some high quality products to the market,’ Mushfiq said in the agreement signing ceremony.
‘Hopefully I will be able to help the brand gain some popularity.’
Goldmark said it preferred Mushfiq as its Brand Ambassador for his excellent leadership skills and well behaviour.
‘He [Mushfiqur] has been successfully leading the national team, encouraging members to play their best, and bolstering support of the Bangladesh team,’ said managing director Bashir.
Goldmark executive director Jahir Uddin Mahmud Khan, general manager (marketing) Md Monir Hossain and Adcomm Limited chairman Geeteara Safiya Choudhury were also present on the occasion.
