Fuel oil prices are coordinated every month, keeping in touch with the international market.
Earlier, the government decided to reduce fuel oil prices from September, the Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) had said.
Besides, in a move to control high inflation, the government also decided to curb the BPC’s profits, due to which fuel oil prices were expected to decline further in the coming months.
