Green Delta Insurance Company Limited has recently appointed Farzana Chowdhury as managing director and chief executive officer. Prior to join this position, she was additional managing director and Group CFO of the company. She was also an active board member and vice-chairman of the board of directors of the company for the period 2008-2009, said a news release.
Farzana completed her masters of business administration from Business School, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. She earned diploma from Malaysia Insurance Institute in 2013.
Farzana served at BRAC Bank as head of SME Banking for around seven years and also worked with Rural Development Programme of BRAC for nearly five years as regional manager, the release said.
