Hamdard University Bangladesh vice-chancellor Faruque-Uz-Zaman Chowdhury gave a formal briefing at the University Admission Festival organised at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre on Monday, said a press release.
Hamdard University Islamic Studies department head Md Kahedul Islam, Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh director information and public relations Amirul Momeen Manik and teachers and senior officials of Hamdard University were present.
Faruque-uz-Zaman said that Hamdard University Bangladesh has been continuing its education programme since 2012 to ensure a bright future by educating the poor and talented students in the remote areas of the country.
The VC also said that Hamdard University has been conducting education and research activities in a permanent campus on 160 bighas of its own land in a natural environment at the confluence of Meghna and Fuldi rivers in Gazaria upazila of Munshiganj district.
Graduate and post graduate programmes are running under a total of 17 courses under five faculties. Hamdard University Bangladesh is conducting higher education programmes by an elite faculty from home and abroad.
There are modern class rooms, laboratories, playgrounds, libraries, hostels and free transport facilities for the students. – Press release
