Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has picked up some new faces with clean image in her cabinet as ministers, state ministers and deputy ministers.
Advocate Anisul Huq, AKM Mozammel huq, Asaduzzaman Noor, Emaj Uddin, Sayedul Huq, Syed Mohsin Ali, Shamsur Rahman Sharif Dilu and Principal Matiur Rahman were sworn in
as the newcomers in the cabinet. Anisul Huq, a veteran lawyer, was made chief prosecutor in the Bangabandhu murder case. He was also the chief lawyer of BDR cases.
Noted cultural personality Asaduzzaman Noor was also inducted in the cabinet as minister for the first time. His motorcade came under attacked by Jamaat-Shibir during
his election campaign at Nilphamari.
MA Mannan, Mirza Azam, Narayan Chandra Chanda, Biren Sikder, Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Bir Bahadur U Shoi Sing, Ismat Ara Sadek, Shahriar Alam, Zahid Malek Swapan,
Nasrul Hamid Bipu, Junayed Ahmed Palak, Saifuzzaman Chowdhury Zaved and Mashiur Rahman Ranga took oath as state ministers for the first time.

Former footballer Arif Khan Joy and Abdullah Al Islam Jackob took oath as deputy ministers for the first time in their life.
Arif Khan Joy, a former captain of the national team, was made deputy minister. He played for Abahani for a long time.
