Priyanka Chopra has said that the constant media speculation about her private life is upsetting.
According to India Today the Dostana star insisted that reports about alleged hook-ups with other actors has an impact on her family.
“I am a girl, I have a father who reads the newspaper every day and a brother who goes to college and his friends talk about it,” said the 27-year-old. “But I think people forget it when they talk about actors. I am very old-fashioned and I don’t like such kind of talk.”
The former beauty pageant winner denied reports that she is romantically attached to Shahid Kapoor.
“I have never said that Shahid is in my life… I got to know him during the shooting of Kaminey and that is all.”
Chopra returns to the big screen in Saat Khoon Maaf, which releases next week.
