The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and Grameenphone on Sunday signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a view to widening
the reach of telemedicine service in the country.
Secretary to the ministry Nazrul Islam Khan and Grameenphone chief executive officer Vivek Sood signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
The ministry is the strategic partner in developing the policy framework and standardising the telemedicine system while Telemedicine Working Group of Bangladesh is the technological partner and Ayesha Memorial Specialised Hospital, Dusthya Sasthya Kendro and Concern Worldwide are the implementing partners in this project.
