Tanvir Mokammel’s latest film Jibandhuli will participate in the competition section of the upcoming sixth Jaipur International Film Festival in India.
The festival will run from February 01 to 05.
Jibandhuli features the valiant role of a minority man named Jiban Dhuli, a traditional trammer, during the war of independence in 1971.
Shatabdi Wadud plays the protagonist character in the film. Other actors of the film are Ramendu Majumdar, Wahida Mallick, Pran Roy, Jotika Joti, Tabibul Islam babu and others along with a group of traditional dhuli.
Mahfuzur Rahman Khan worked as the cinematographer, while Uttam Guha was the art director.
Thirty former and present students of Bangladesh Film Institute, a film training institute run by Tanvir Mokammel, also worked in the film.
