Josephites defeated Cantonians by 60-45 points in the Citycell First Division Basketball League at the Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium on Wednesday.
They led the first half by 31-23 points. Rajib scored 17 and Manik 14 points for the winners while Ali and Jamil caged 10 points each for the losers.Earlier on Tuesday night, The Gregs managed a 79-64 point victory over Cantonians after leading the first half by 40-28 points at the same venue.
In the day’s other match, Josephites beat Wraights by 47-39 points after dominating the first session by 27-20 points.
