‘Sotti Bolchhi (Speaking true)’ famed promising singer Joy Shahriar’s second solo album titled “Ekhon-e” has been released recently. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Agniveena has brought the album in the market.
The album contains eight songs among which seven were written and composed by Joy himself. Besides this, he also paid tribute to legendary English guitarist, singer and songwriter Eric Clapton by including his one of the most popular songs “Wonderful Tonight” in this album.
The songs of this album were recorded under the music direction of Bappa Majumdar, Pavel Arin and Joy Shahriar.
While talking about the album Joy told this correspondent, “After the tremendous acceptance of my first album ‘Sotti Bolchhi’ among the listeners, huge responsibilities have grown within me and I have tried to meet the thirst of my listeners through this album. I hope the listeners will surely like it.”
