Securing first place in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 2011, Rajuk Uttara Model School and College maintained the same in the Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinations too across the country. The JSC results were published on Wednesday.
In the selection of the best schools in Dhaka Division, Rajuk Uttara Model School and College got 92.86 out of 100 points under five criteria.
Rajshahi Cadet College and Feni Girls’ Cadet College jointly became second bagging 91 out 100 points for being on the list of best performers under such criteria. The institutions secured first place in their respective boards.
Comilla Cadet College has been third among all schools in the country with 90.40 points of rating for the best schools.
Pabna Cadet College stood fourth with 89.84 points while Barisal Cadet College fifth with 89.317 points.
Military Collegiate School at Phultala in Khulna secured sixth place with 88.11 points and Jhenidah Cadet College the seventh with 88.08 points.
Cantonment Public School and College in Rangpur under Dinajpur Board got eighth place with 87.13 points while Motijheel Ideal School and College in Dhaka held ninth place with 87.08 out of 100 points.
Mirzapur Cadet College has been 10th of the best schools in the country with 86.98 points.
In Rajuk Uttara Model School and College, 339 students registered for the JSC examinations and all of them passed with 304 securing Grade Point Average (GPA) 5.0.
In Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examination, Tanjimul Ummah Cadet Madrasah at Uttara held first place across the country with 66.83 out of 100 points.
