Prominent film actress Jyotika Jyoti has been appointed as a director of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy for two years.
Jyotika Jyoti, a member of AL’s sub-committee on forests and environment, confirmed the matter to media.
‘I have been appointed as a director of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. In this regard, public administration ministry has issued a gazette notification on March 13. After I join at the academy, the director general of the BSA Liaquat Ali Lucky will decide which department I will helm,’ said Jyotika Jyoti.
Jyotika Jyoti started her career with beauty pageant in 2004.
Jyoti charmed the audience with her excellent acting prowess on the silver screen with multiple hit productions including “Anil Bagchir Ekdin”, “Maya—The Lost Mother” and “Laal Moroger Jhuti” amongst many others.
