Noted Tagore singer Kamal Ahmed has recently launched his seventh solo album titled Bedhechhi Amar Pran featuring 10 beautiful Tagore songs. The album consists of popular Tagore songs like Asa Jour Pother Dhare, Dariye Achho Tumi Amar, Sei Bhalo Sei Bhalo and of course the title song of the album.
The album was launched from Laser Vision on May 8, which was the birth anniversary of the Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore.
Kamal Ahmed, who is currently serving Bangladesh Betar as a director, has learnt music at Chhayanaut from renowned teachers including Wahidul Haque, Ikhtier Omer, Ustad Phul Muhammad, and others.
About his eventful musical career, Kamal Ahmed told New Age that he will continue practicing music as long as he lives. ‘I am planning to form a music production house after my retirement so that I will be able to bring good songs to the people,’ said Ahmed.
Besides Tagore songs, Kamal Ahmed is also a skilled singer of contemporary and yesteryears’ songs.
