Three businessmen were killed and one injured in a road accident in Keraniganj of the capital Wednesday night.
The deceased were identified as Awlad Hossain Bhuiyan Manik, 50, Rasu Miah, 45, and Mohammad Dolon, 55.
The injured Sohel, 24, was admitted to a local hospital in a critical condition.
Locals and police sources said the car skidded off the road into a roadside ditch leaving the three dead on the spot at Aintha of Konda union under South Keraniganj police station around 9:00pm.
The accident might have occurred when Manik, one of the deceased, lost control over his wheels while returning from Hasnabad to Keraniganj, they added.
