Saifullah Khaled finished fourth in bodybuilding event of the 2nd Asian Beach Games in Mascot, Oman after he scored 40 in the final round of 85kg category.
Abu Sayeed Mollah became sixth in the 75kg category, said a press release of Bangladesh Olympic Association yesterday.
Bangladesh women’s kabaddi team, which earned bronze medal in Asian Games, started their campaign on a losing note after suffering a 45-67 defeat to Thailand on Sunday. Bangladesh were scheduled to play their second match against favourites India yesterday night while they will play their third match against Indonesia tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh is only participating in bodybuilding and women’s kabaddi.
