The 2013 Annual Korean NGO Workshop organised by the Korea International Cooperation Agency was held at KOICA Bangladesh Office on Thursday.
The Korean non-governmental organisations working for the socio-economic development in Bangladesh by receiving KOICA’s grant assistance took part in the workshop.Korean ambassador Lee Yun-young, resident representative of KOICA Kim Bok-Hee and officials from Bangladesh NGO Affairs Bureau attended the workshop, said a press release.
Representatives from Korean NGOs in Bangladesh — Save the children, World Vision, ADRA Korea, KDAB, Asia Focus, Good Neighbors, Heart to Heart Welfare Foundation, Korea Hope Foundation, Well International, Korea Habitat, Global Care and other Korean NGOs attended the workshop.
The workshop focused enhancing the NGO officials’ perception about KOICA’s development support programmes in Bangladesh, Bangladesh’s domestic development issues and local situation, exchange of opinions for better project implementation with more efficiency and explore ways for improvement in its partnership with the Korean NGO.
