A two-day little magazine fair began at Rajshahi University on Saturday.
‘Chinho’, a campus-based little magazine, organised the little fair in front the Shahidullah Art Building, marking its 12th founding anniversary.
More than fifty little magazines from home and abroad are taking part in the fair, the organisers said.
On the occasion, several hundred students, teachers, writers brought out a colourful procession.
The procession marched the main streets on the campus with the beats of drums.
Then a discussion meeting was held. Noted writer and also former student of Rajshahi University Selina Hossain, poet Asad Choudhury, writer Mohadev Shaha, Rafique Aazad, Haripada Datta, Nur-ul-Alam Lenin, Harisanker Jaladash, founding editor of Chinho Professor Shaheed Iqbal addressed the meeting among others.
Rajshahi University VC M Abdus Sobhan and pro-VC of the university Professor M Nurullah are scheduled to attend the last day programme.
