Veteran all-rounder Mahmudullah has announced that he will retire from the T20 Internationals after the ongoing series against India.
The 39-year all-rounder made this announcement at a press conference prior to the second T20I against India in Delhi on Tuesday.
Mahmudullah has played 139 T20Is for Tigers which is the highest as a Bangladesh player as Shakib al Hasan is in the second in the list with 129 matches.
Mahmudullah has scored 2395 runs so far in T20Is with 23.48 average and 117.74 strike rate with eight half-centuries so far.
Beside that Mahmudullah also took 40 wickets in T20I with best bowling figure of 3/10.
Mahmudullaha scored 1 off 2 against India in the first game of the three-match series.
