The police on Friday recovered the body of a man from Shaplabagh in Sylhet city.
The deceased identified as Milon Chowdhury, 42, son of Nayeb Chowdhury of Gulshi village in Netrakona, was a mason by profession.
Nazma Begum, second wife of the deceased, said Milon was found dead inside a room when she went to ask him to go to say jumaa prayer around 12:30pm.
The police said Milon had married Nazma without taking permission from his first wife Asma Begum.
