A man allegedly hacked his wife, her mother and uncle to death in Sherpur’s Sreebordi upazila on Thursday night.
Monira Begum, 30, her mother Shefali Begum, 50, and uncle Mahmud Hazi, 65, were killed at their home, said Abu Sayem, officer-in-charge of Sreebordi Police Station.
onira’s husband Minto entered their house and hacked his in-laws indiscriminately around 9:00pm on Thursday. Three others were injured in this attack, the police official added. “The incident happened following a family feud,” he said.
Police detained Minto, a poultry and cattle trader, around 6:00am yesterday and recovered the murder weapon from his possession, said the OC.
No case was filed in this connection till the time this report was filed.
