Manisha Koirala: New age Mommy

Dhanush-Hansika Motwani’s upcoming film Maapillai has been in the headlines for many reasons. Maapillai is a remake of the yesteryear super hit with the same title starring Dhanush’s father-in-law superstar Rajinikanth. 
The biggest highlight about Maapillai? Bollywood heart-throb Manisha Koirala, who will play Dhanush’s mother-in-law. Interestingly, Manisha Koirala was the heroine in superstar Rajinikanth’s Baba.
Maapillai is the story of the cold war between a lady and her son-in-law. Produced by Nemichand Jhabak and V. Hitesh Jhabak for Sun Pictures and directed by Suraaj, its musical score is by Mani Sharma.
Meanwhile, the pretty Manisha Koirala will make her Mollywood debut in Shyamaprasad’s Electra in a very crucial role as Nayantara’s mother. Prakashraj plays Manisha’s husband. Electra, based on a Greek play, is produced by Vindhyan under the banner of Rasika Entertainments.
The 40-year-old actress is all set to marry Nepali businessman Samrat Dahal on June 19. When asked about her wedding dress, she said, “I am going to wear an ethnic Sabyasachi outfit, and there are lots of preparations still to be made. I am making sure that everything goes well.”
