Pace bowler Mashrafee bin Murtaza returned to the side as Bangladesh announced a 15-member squad for the first two one-day internationals against New Zealand on Wednesday.
Mashrafee, who has not played a Test since ill-fated West Indies tour in 2009 but is a regular member of the one-day side, missed the last two series in Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe due to ankle injury he suffered in the Bangladesh Premier League final.
Batsmen Anamul Haque, Naeem Islam and Shamsur Rahman and paceman Shafiul Islam also joined him in the one-day side as Bangladesh made several changes from the squad that toured Zimbabwe in March-April.
Anamul missed the Zimbabwe tour because of his HSC examination while Naeem, Shamsur and Shafiul were not selected.
Jahirul Islam, Sajedul Islam are among the players from Zimbabwe tour who could not make it to the Test and one-day squad this time while Mohammad Ashraful remained suspended.
Robiul Islam played the first Test in Chittagong but injury left him out of second Test and the first two matches of the one-day series.
The first two one-day internationals will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on October 29 and 31 respectively.
