Celebrities around the world are often involved in social work. The latest to join the bandwagon is popular singer Mehreen.
Mehreen is said to have joined the voluntary organisation Sandhani and has pledged to donate her eyes after death. She has been busy in the front working for people who need ophthalmological care. In her latest endeavor Mehreen has plans to open a free eye clinic at her village in Chinishpur, Narsingdi on July 30.
“The underprivileged people of my village will get free medical treatment,” she said, adding, “since childhood, it has been my intention to do something for the villagers.”
