Whenever Mimo watched any fighting scene in commercial Bangla films, she just giggled at the way actors fight to take revenge on someone or save someone. She does not dare to laugh at those kinds of fighting anymore.
‘It is no joke, playing roles in this kind of fighting is very hard job for an actor. It’s so much challenging,’ Mimo told New Age in an interview, adding that she was a girl who always refrained herself from all kinds of violence from her childhood.
The winner of the talent hunt show titled ‘Fair & Lovely superhero super heroine’, Lamia Siddique Mimo’s debut film ‘Ek Jaban’ directed by FI Manik will be released on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. She is pairing with another newcomer named Joy in the film.
She has already finished shooting for two full-length feature films including ‘Ek Jaban’. In the film, Mimo plays a girl who falls in love with a young man.
At one point of their relationship, the girl finds out that the man is her distant
relative.
Her other film ‘King Khan’ directed by Mohammed Hossain Jaimy will also be released in a month or two. Popular actor Shakib Khan is acting against Mimo in the film. However, after the brutal killing of her dear ones, she transformed into a strong woman to take revenge on the enemies. ‘I had the opportunity to show variation in my character, hope the audience will enjoy the film’, said Mimo.
