A minor girl was burnt to death and three of her family members were injured as a fire broke out in their house at Kalurghat of Chandgaon in Chittagong Saturday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Rodela, 4, and the injured were her father Zakaria, 35, mother Nasreen Sultana, 25, and brother Mostakin, 2.The blaze had originated from an short circuit in their
living room at about 1:30am and soon engulfed the entire house when the family members were asleep.
Three fire engines put out the flames after half an hour’s of frantic efforts.
The injured were rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital in a critical condition where Rodela succumbed to her injuries in the afternoon,
