Police found a partially decomposed body of a middle-aged woman from city’s Uttara area yesterday. A team of Uttara West Police Station on getting information recovered the body from a spot near house no 33 at road no 20 under Uttara 14 sector at around 12:30PM. Sub-Inspector Firoz of Uttara West Police Station said,‘‘ The body has been sent to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy. We are trying to find out the identity of the deceased woman.” Meanwhile, Jatrabari police yesterday recovered a body of a minor girl from inside a reserved water tank at Rahmatpur of Matuail area in the city. The deceased has been identified as Afrin Akhter, 7, daughter of Khorshed Alam. She went missing on Thursday morning, police said.
