Miss World Bangladesh returns after two years. Miss World Bangladesh will represent the country at Miss World pageant central stage.
Omicon Entertainment is the competition’s official franchise and Asiatic is the organizing partner. The organizers announced the competition specifics at a news conference.
Sara Zaker and Sadia Islam Mou will judge Miss World Bangladesh-2022, the press conference revealed.
Mehdi Hasan, chairman of Omicon Entertainment and Omicon Group, said Miss World Bangladesh doesn’t seek models. This competition seeks role models.”
“We are starting the pageant with the aim of finding such a role model, this time as well,” he added.
Sara Zaker missed the news conference since she was out of the country.
The other judge Sadia Islam Mou said, “I feel honoured to be a judge in an event like this. The slogan of the pageant, ‘Beauty with Purpose’ is wonderful as well. So I want to say, go ahead women. Of course you can do it.”
Sadia Islam Mou, the other judge, remarked, “I’m honored to be a judge at the event. “Beauty with Purpose” is a great pageant motto. Go ahead women! Yes, you can.
Former Miss World Bangladesh winners Jessia Islam and Jannatul Ferdous Oishee were also at the press briefing.
Miss World Bangladesh-2022 registration has started. Contestants can register till November 25 on the event’s Facebook page or website (www.missworldbangladesh.com).
In 2017, Miss World Bangladesh debuted. The 2018 and 2019 editions followed.
In the first season, the winner was Jessia Islam. In the second season, it was Jannatul Ferdous Oishi, and in the third season, it was Nanjeba Torsa. Now, all three of them act in plays, movies, and commercials.
The competition was canceled owing to the corona outbreak. This event resumes with a fresh version after two years.
